Our Story
Built on one belief: every child deserves a chance
Edith Children Foundation was formed in June 2021 and incorporated in the State of California, United States. The Foundation exists for children and young people whose circumstances threaten their well-being and their future — and it works on both fronts at once: meeting urgent needs today and building pathways to independence for tomorrow.
Our primary focus is Cameroon, where we combine immediate humanitarian assistance — food, healthcare, sanitary products, educational support — with longer-term empowerment through vocational and artisanal training, employment pathways and opportunities for self-sufficiency.

Immediate needs and lasting independence
ECF believes sustainable impact requires addressing immediate needs while also creating pathways toward independence. That is why our work moves along a single pathway — relief, protection, education, skills, opportunity and self-sufficiency — rather than stopping at a handout.
